"FORCE INDIA"
The 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship heralds the start of a new era of Indian motorsport: the first full season for the Force India Formula One Team and a representation of the new young fast paced global Indians and F1 fans from across the world.
The person who made India proud was none other, our very own "Dr. Vijay Mallya", he is well know personality in india so i need not to tell anything about him, every one knew him and his achievements.
uhmm.. i was cracking the history of force india then found some interesting facts about history of force india....
i would like to share those findings....
Although created in 2007, the team's roots can be traced back to 1991, when it was founded as Jordon Grand Prix. The Silverstone based squad and facilities were bought by the Midland group in 2005 and re-named Midland F1 in 2006, before being sold to Spykercars towards the end of the 2006 season. However, the running costs of a small Formula One team once again caused the sale of the team, this time to Indian billionaire Dr.Vijay Mallya [source: wikipedia and force india official website]
but the imteresting facts what i have found after reading so many articles about force india is team is not making much of the changes in the chassis but
team will be using ferrari customer engine for 2008 seesion.
force india was successful in attracting many of the sponsers from india and from other countries... primary sponser is very own brand kingfisher......
few named sponsers are icici, samsung, medion and etihad airways.....
most important is the drivers.....

so we can see force india in its first grand prix starting next month in australian grand prix....
Dr.Vijay Mallya has promised that force india will do better performance in his official show but has said not expect win for the movement
Dr.Vijay Mallya's vision is to win in the Indian grand prix which is scheduled for the year 2010.
by then force india will improve its engine and performance....
