Hogganikal: Tamilnadu Govt. Stand

st_tamilnadu

After much of the protest in various places and by many organisations, finally Tamilnadu government puts a hold on the Hogganikal project till the end of the Karnataka state assembly election.

Chief minister of Tamilnadu but made the point clear that if the solution is awful after the election, then Tamil's won't sit silently.

By this statement he is clearly referring that the tensions may prevail after the Karnataka state assembly elections.

This decision by Tamilnadu government has opened a space for speculation against government. Now the government is under criticism by various opposition parties and by public.

In my view, this is decision is taken to support congress in Karnataka as DMK is in its allies in the centre. So DMK don't want to upset the government in the centre

~~Cheers~~
